SSOA is located in Port Kirwan, Newfoundland.
Port Kirwan is a small community located on the southern tip of the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is situated near the town of Ferryland and is part of the Ferryland district. Newfoundland and Labrador is known for its picturesque coastal landscapes, fishing heritage, and cultural richness.
Youth in our program attend a single stream K-12 School, boasting small class sizes and diverse sports and extracurricular activites.
Baltimore School is located in the historic community of Ferryland on the Southern Shore, the Irish Heart of Newfoundland.
We would like to respectfully acknowledge the territory in which we gather, as the ancestral unceded homelands of the Beothuk and the island of Newfoundland as the ancestral unceded homelands of the Mi'kmaq and Beothuk.
